All In for Students: Kensington's Shannon Fox Named Teacher of the Week!

Our stellar teachers are ALL IN for students… especially Mrs. Shannon Fox, kindergarten teacher at Kensington. Just listen to this nomination of her as the Adirondack Broadcasting Teacher of the Week sponsored by TCT Federal Credit Union: “Earlier this school year, a second grader had a loose tooth and was bumped by a friend, which made the tooth even more loose. Mrs. Fox witnessed the incident and jumped into action by donning some gloves and pulling the tooth with no problems. Sometimes the smallest gestures are the best!”

Even better… when Jeannie Dickinson of TCT Federal Credit Union stopped by today to give Shannon flowers, a plaque, and other gifts, she laughed and said it wasn’t the only time she’s helped with loose teeth!

Kensington Principal Marissa Macey then noted some of the *many* other ways Shannon makes #GFNation strong - from shoveling snow off people’s cars in the parking lot, to lifting up other staff members, to instilling confidence in her “Dream Team” class of five-year-olds, to simply being a wonderful human.
